Baikal Winteriada 2006

The diploma is issued by Irkutsk Award Group.
The diploma is issued in connection with the Baikal Forth Winteriada - International Baikal Nordic Games Festival of extreme kinds of winter sports (among them: - ski transition through Baikal lake, 100 miles on skates over ice of the lake, races on snowmobiles, dog sledding etc.) Within the schedule of the Winteriada 2006 a polar station on ice of Baikal lake will be built.
The special station UE105SBM (Siberia Baikal 105th Meridian) will work from there.
(This station will work the 9th of March till the 12th of March including)

During the time when Winteriada is held ( February, 23 2006 till March, 12, 2006) radio stations with special callsigns will work:

Terms of the diploma
Two QSOs with special stations or 1 with a special station and 2 stations from Irkutsk area (UA0S..) must be provided during the time of Winteriada (from 02.22.2006 till 03.12.2006).

HAMs who make the most number of QSOs with special stations and stations of Irkutsk area will be marked by prizes. For this nomination we need your extract from the log sent before March 31, 2006. Via email - OK.
Valid QSOs are - at any bands and with any modes. Repeated QSOs are permitted on different bands and with different modes. The diploma could be got by SWLs at the same terms.
Send an extract from the log and 4 IRC to get diploma.
