RK0SYY is the club station of the Irkutsk Award Group.


RK0SYY

The club station RK0SYY was created by the Irkutsk Award Group to provide
different HAMs expeditions at lake Baikal and around it.
This gives HAMs an opportunity to fullfill terms for awards RRA, RDA and RFF.



Nowadays the team also activly supports its own awards CORA, TZA, GLORIA, TRANSSIB, BAIKAL and Baikal WINTERIADA.

By the way RK0SYY is located in Listvyanka village 200 meters from Nikolai Chudotvorets Church.
This gives 1 point for the award Churches of Russia.

Once again we took part in Baikal Winteriada 2007.

We changed the location of the station and worked from Baikal National Park
at the top of the hill. We used a special callsign UE0SYY for the event.

Our shack at Listvyanka village was a base for the station UE0SZB which worked from the ice
of lake Baikal.

The member of our Irkutsk Award Group - RA0SS Valery was on the business trip to Sayan Mountains.
He used the opportunity and worked from there.

The location was at RDA: BU-12 RMA(Russian Montain Award): RM-12-06

RFF(Russian Flora and Fauna Award): RFF-146

Valery was very excited with the event and mountains. So we think eventually
we shall come there with a team and will work for a longer time.

For the second time we took part in Baikal Winteriada 2006.

We worked during Winteriada with a special callsign UE0SYY.

Once again we were the base station for UE105SBM

Irkutsk Award Group's team organized participation of Irkutsk HAMSs
in Winteriada 2005.

We worked during Winteriada with a special callsign UE0SYY from Listvyanka village.

Our station was the base station for the UE0SZB, which worked for two days from the ice
of the lake.
